We were very fortunate to have chosen Peter to sell our house. From the introductory presentation through the closing, he was always available to answer our questions and provide us with any guidance that we needed. Peter is very thorough, professional and detail oriented. We have no hesitation in recommending Peter Chapman to anyone.

Our experience with Peter has been very positive. As first time homebuyers, we were unsure of the purchasing process overall. Peter not only set up an informative tutorial for us, but also was always available for our questions. Peter is extremely knowledgeable and we highly recommend him as a buyer’s agent.

My boyfriend and I started our home buying process back in November 2014 and we weren't sure where to start. We saw a home online and put in a request to see it. Peter got back to us right away and was at our side through the whole process. He was available for every question, even at 7 a.m. During the process he directed us in the right direction for financing and real estate attorneys. He knew when to offer advice on a home and when to let us figure it out amongst ourselves. My boyfriend got so attached to Peter that after we found our home and we're waiting for the closing he missed Peter and continued to text him. We closed on our home in March, and we couldn't be happier! I think the best part about Peter was the personalized gift he gave to both of us just recently. I would gladly recommend Peter without hesitation. Without him I'm sure this process would have been more difficult. If you want someone who is personal and not someone who will sell you on a home just to sell it, Peter Chapman is your Realtor! Thanks Peter

Working with Peter was great! He offered me useful insights on pre-listing renovations and staging that helped me tremendously for showings. He has great interpersonal skills, competence, and integrity. I would highly recommend him.

As a very nervous first time homebuyer who was looking to purchase outside of Connecticut, I sought out Peter's advice. He eased my concerns by connecting me with an out-of state Realtor who matched my personality and has a lot of experience. He took time in speaking to me and learned what I was looking for and what my preferences were in order to make the right connection. He also confidently answered all of my questions. I would recommend him as a Realtor to anyone.

I highly recommend Peter as a Realtor to anyone who is looking to buy a house. Peter is knowledgeable about the home buying and mortgage process, and will guide you along the way through closing. Peter helped me and my girlfriend, who were first time homebuyers, tremendously. He always gave us his unbiased opinion, because he has our best interest at heart. He also guided us in the right direction in getting pre approved for a mortgage. He got our offer for the house we want accepted due to his negotiation/ intellectual skills. If you are looking for an honest Realtor (who will work around the clock for you) to assist you along your home buying journey, choose Peter.

Peter really came down and met me at my level. He was very easy-going but very sharp. He quickly noticed things I hadn't and didn't try and push me into anything that wasn't perfect. He made himself available all the time and taught me an awful lot about the home buying process. I could not have done it without him. If you are a 1st time buyer you need Peter.
-Seth, November 2014
I would happily recommend Peter to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. His professionalism and enthusiasm are unprecedented. My husband and I needed help deciding what to do with our home and Peter worked diligently to quickly give us all the vital and pertinent information to help us make the best decision for our family. Not only was he responsive (even on his vacation overseas) but he was honest and understanding regarding our personal situation. I would not hesitate to utilize Peter’s services in the future and anyone who works with him will instantly feel reassured they have chosen the right agent.
-Erin, October 2014
I would recommend Peter to all potential buyers and sellers. I have been working with other Realtors over the years and I find Peter to be honest, loyal and one of the few agents who tells it like it is without making open-ended promises. He's very organized and a pleasure to work with.
-Tammie, October 2014
Peter is the consummate professional who is well beyond prepared. He not only provided very accurate information about our position if we chose to sell, but he also thoroughly researched our property of interest. His knowledge of similar sales in the area helped us better understand what the property either possessed or lacked in comparison. We look forward to continuing our work with him!
-Teresa, September 2014
Peter got to work on finding us information about putting our home on the market immediately and got back to us the next day!!! He was very thorough in his research and really left us with a good understanding of what we could expect in going through the process of selling our home. He understood our needs answered all of our questions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him to any homeowner interested in selling their home.
-Rob, July 2014
Peter showed us what it means to be an ideal agent. Buying/selling homes can be a stressful time; especially since my family and I have limited experience. Only after working with Peter, who was courteous, professional and took a real personal interest in what we were looking for, did we realize we had experienced other agents who were self-interested and unlike Peter. He is understanding, honest and straightforward, and very organized. It was a pleasure to work with him, as he was responsive and efficient. If we consider the areas in which he shows homes, we will most certainly work with him and recommend him to anyone else!

I believe memorable real estate agents serve as consultants, facilitators, and counselors for their clients, and the greatest commission one may ever receive is customer satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
My goal as a Realtor representing buyers is to ensure that I help clients to find a home that meets their expectations and that provides the greatest opportunity for them to remain fulfilled with their investment well into the future. As an agent, I strive to reduce the obstacles and lessen the anxiety that is sometimes intimidating to homebuyers. Whether you are an experienced buyer or one just beginning your search process, I have created a buyer tutorial that is designed to review the buying process from pre approval to closing. My intent in presenting such a detailed overview is alleviate some of the potential stressors that sometimes accompany the buying process. I believe that knowledge is power and by helping to cultivate well-informed buyers my clients are likely to have the upper hand when competing against other buyers.
I counsel my clients prior to placing their house on the market to ensure that we develop a collaborative marketing strategy that entices numerous quality and timely purchase offers. I take great pride in working side-by-side with sellers to learn about the unique attributes of their home and to determine how to best position the property within the ever-changing market. This ensures that my clients will likely walk away from a closing feeling that they made the right choice with Coldwell Banker and with me serving as their Realtor.
What separates me from other Realtors is that I am completely honest with prospective sellers about the state of the market and the current value of their home within those market conditions. While some agents choose to "buy" the listing from potential sellers by making false claims about the price for which sellers will be able to sell their home, I methodically study the market conditions in an effort to let the seller know at which price a home should be priced so that it is best positioned to obtain an acceptable offer. When meeting with prospective sellers I explain in great detail why their home is of a particular value at that point in time and provide guidance as to how the seller can make the home stand out from other homes with which their property may be in competition for the attention of qualified buyers.

Although I am a native of Connecticut, the long history and many charms of New England never cease to amaze me. My family and I currently reside near the shore in Milford and regularly enjoy partaking in everything coastal Connecticut has to offer. By living in a place that I love, my life as a real estate agent is even more fulfilling as it is a pleasure to assist others as they sell and purchase homes with the intent of finding that special New England property that they can call home.
My previous professional experience as a public school teacher and assistant principal complements my role as a sales associate. Much like a teacher, one of the primary roles of a Realtor is to educate others. My clients look to me for knowledge and advice that helps them to become informed and savvy sellers and buyers. A secondary strength that benefits my clients is my ability to ensure that difficult tasks get accomplished. As an assistant principal I frequently engaged in the art of negotiation in an effort to promote the greater good of students in public schools. This often consisted of bringing adversarial parties together and finding ways to mediate the situation. The wisdom I have gained from such experiences helps to reassure my clients that during challenging negotiations I will work to find solutions that preserve and promote their financial and personal interests.
